The desk consists of much more than just a desk it serves as well as a bookcase, dresser and bed headboard. I built the project in place. My son had outgrown the day bed in which he slept and had only hand me down furniture of a low quality. The "desk" wraps around two walls of the room and consists of the only furniture in the room. The "desk" is built of oak plywood with red oak veneer and is trimmed out with solid oak. The drawer fronts are solid oak as well and the drawer guides are high quality. Brass pulls complete the project.
