Manzanita branches support the 4 uniquely shaped shelves from the base. The base is made of oak and the shelves are made of strips of black walnut, mahogany and oak. The shelves placement and shape was determined by the intertwining manzanita branches. The material to creat the shelves was salvaged from boxes for imported computer parts for the original Apple computer. Three dragons make this shelf their home. One is faux ivory and he lives in a crystal ball with a music box that plays "Puff, the magic dragon". One is pewter and he sits upon a bed of amethyst crystals. One is clay and she is a very friendly dragon. |
