This is THE HEART of the yard! Guests always are drawn, as the sun draws a comet, to THE HEART! When many guests are here I must forfeit my space in THE HEART!

So I patiently await the sunny, mild and pleasant clear day when no one is around to spend my time in THE HEART. I don't always have the opportunity to spend the afternoon here as the many projects awaiting my attention call me away. I am lucky to steal a few moments in which I may inhale deeply of the sweet fragrant Fragins Osmanthus in bloom!

Truly the best times at THE HEART are when I wait until the moon is full, the skies are clear then Marilin and I can steal away for a few precious moments and gently rock the swing together in the pleasure of each other's company.

The seating in THE HEART of the yard consists of two benches and a swing. The swing is of oak painted white with red and blue trim.

The two benches are handcrafted of straight grain douglas fir. The two identical benches where custom designed and built one year at Christmas as a Christmas gift to my wonderful wife, Marilin. The identical benches are painted white with red and blue trim as well,
