"My major concern is that there is evidence that they are spraying
tons of nanosized aluminum compounds.
It has been demonstrated in the
scientific and medical literature that nanosized particles are infinitely more
reactive and induce intense inflammation in a number of tissues.
special concern is the effect of these nanoparticles on the brain and spinal
cord, as a growing list of neurodegenerative diseases, including
Parkinson's disease and Lou Gehrig's disease (ALS) are strongly related to
exposure to environmental aluminum.
Nanoparticles of aluminum are not
only infinitely more inflammatory, they also easily penetrate the brain by a
number of routes, including the blood and olfactory nerves (the smell nerves in
Studies have shown that these particles pass along the
olfactory neural tracts, which connect directly to the area of the brain that
is not only most effected by
disease, but also the earliest affected in the course of the disease.
It also has the highest level of brain aluminum in Alzheimer's cases.
The intranasal route of exposure makes spraying of massive amounts of
nanoaluminum into the skies especially hazardous, as it will be inhaled by
people of all ages, including babies and small children for many hours.
We know that older people have the greatest reaction to this airborne
Because of the nanosizing of the aluminum particles being
used, home filtering system will not remove the aluminum, thus prolonging
exposure, even indoors. In addition to inhaling nanoaluminum, such spraying
will saturate the ground, water and vegetation with high levels of aluminum.
Normally, aluminum is poorly absorbed from the GI tract, but
nanoaluminum is absorbed in much higher amounts.
This absorbed aluminum
has been shown to be distributed to a number of organs and tissues including
the brain and spinal cord.
Inhaling this environmentally suspended
nanoaluminum will also produce tremendous inflammatory reaction within the
lungs, which will pose a significant hazard to children and adults with
asthma and pulmonary diseases." -

More than 20% of South Vietnam's forests
were sprayed at least once over a nine-year period.
records show at least 6,542 spraying missions took place over the course of
Operation Ranch Hand.
The US military began targeting food crops in
October 1962. In 1965, 42 percent of all herbicide spraying was dedicated to
food crops. The first official acknowledgement of the programs came from the
State Department in March 1966. The campaign destroyed 5 million acres of
upland and mangrove forests and millions of acres of crops.
A 50:50 mixture of 2,4,5-T and 2,4-D, it was manufactured for
the US Department of Defense primarily by Monsanto Corporation and Dow
Chemical. The 2,4,5-T used to produce Agent Orange was contaminated with
an extremely toxic dioxin
compound, "perhaps the most toxic molecule ever synthesized by man". The
half-life of dioxins in soil is more than 10 years, and that of TCDD in human
fat tissue is about 7 years.
During the Vietnam War, between 1962 and
1971, the United States military sprayed nearly 20,000,000 US gallons of
material containing chemical herbicides and defoliants mixed with jet fuel in
Vietnam, eastern Laos and parts of Cambodia, as part of Operation Ranch

500,000 children born with birth defects.
"When we initiated the
herbicide program in the 1960's, we were aware of the potential for damage due to
dioxin contamination in the herbicide. We were even
aware that the 'military' formulation
had a higher dioxin concentration than the 'civilian' version due to the lower
cost and speed of manufacture. However, because the material was to be used on
the 'enemy', none of us were overly concerned." - Dr. James R. Clary,Chemical

As early as 1966, resolutions were
introduced to the United Nations charging that the US was violating the 1925
Geneva Protocol, which regulated the use of chemical and biological weapons.

2-butoxyethanol was identified as a causal agent in
the health problems experienced by cleanup workers after the
1989 Exxon Valdez oil
spill. According to the Alaska Community Action on Toxics, the use of

Earthjustice and Toxipedia Consulting Services conducted the
first analysis of the 57 chemicals found in Corexit formulas 9500 and 9527 in
the summer of 2011. Results showed the dispersant could contain cancer-causing
agents, hazardous toxins and endocrine-disrupting chemicals. The analysis found
"5 chemicals are associated with cancer; 33 are associated with skin irritation
from rashes to burns; 33 are linked
to eye irritation;
are or are suspected of being potential respiratory toxins or irritants;
10 are suspected kidney toxins; 8 are
suspected or known to be toxic to aquatic organisms; and 5 are suspected to
have a moderate acute toxicity to fish".

When oil is dispersed, it is distributed in three

scientists found that the untested undersea application of the dispersant
created abundant oil plumes in the middle of the Gulf of Mexico. In 2013 it was
reported that everywhere the plumes had drifted, a massive die-off was left in
the wake. Millions of amoeba-like creatures called foraminifera, the basis of
the Gulf food chain, were killed by the plumes.

US District Judge Carl Barbier in December 2012 dismissed all
claims against the manufacturer of Corexit, stating that such claims would
become an "obstacle to federal law".
Barbier held that Nalco did not
