Initiates pass through the Gate of Descension to enter a passage steeply angled downward and on into a labyrinth of dark dank rooms symbolizing man's birth into ignorance.

On the last day the initiate enters a passage leading gently upward into a brightly glowing pulsating room symbolizing man's Awakening.

Initiates are reborn the 9th day as they walk out through the Gate of Ascension which is symbolic of leaving the womb.
