Culture is a closed system of thinking and
values, of the sort I am denouncing; and the greatest barrier to your
enlightenment, your education, and your decency, is your culture. And
I realize with joy that here I skirt
the bounds of political
correctness.
"In the Machine Age,
overt slavery
disappeared,
to be replaced with a system in which nearly
everyone did demeaning work out of
survival anxiety.
"Do it or you will die!"
That's slavery, all right.
The great promise of
machine technology:
Every man a king!
Every man a god!
Has
borne its opposite.
Every man a
slave!
Slaves without human owners,
all laboring under the yoke of
money."
Charles Eisenstein
the right to

the power to determine,
adjudicate, or otherwise settle issues or
disputes In religious culture the initiated
hold religious authority over spiritual needs.
In State culture
representatives of the State exercise State authority.
In academic culture academics
claim authority over
intellectual
knowledge.
Authoritarians come in two
flavors: leaders and followers.
The two tiers are driven by very
different motivations; and understanding these differences is the first key to
understanding how authoritarian social structures work.
Authoritian
directors form just a small fraction of any group, typically run in a wolf pack
with an alpha leader and act as shepherds to the wayward sheep. Directors
are dominating, opposed to equality, committed to expanding their own personal
power, and amoral.
Social scientists refer to this group as having a
social dominance orientation. Direction followers have a different but very
complementary set of motivations include conventional submission to and
aggressive support of authority.
"These people seize every opportunity
to lead, and enjoy having power over others." - John Dean, Conservatives
Without Conscience
They have absolutely no qualms about objectifying
and testing people while breaking rules and even laws to advance their own
ambitions.
Pick a brick wall.
Any old brick wall will do.
Look at the surface of the old
brick wall and watch it grow.
An ancient Shaolin master said:
"Big moves are not as polished as small moves.
Small moves are
not as polished as stillness."
The exercise is done to seek a stillness of
the mind necessary for complete and utter calmness.
The level of
concentration required to watch a brick wall grow can only come from inner
discipline.
That inner discipline is derived from excluding all manner
of distractions, including and up to people watching you look at a brick wall
for no reason whatsoever.
When you finally attain enough discipline and
finally let the world go so that you can watch that brick wall grow, you will
have learned much.
Much about yourself and what you are capable of.
See it as being able to stand perfectly still during an earthquake or a
tempestuous storm.
You are
calm not because you are unafraid, but because you have attained enough inner
discipline and peace as to see things for what they are.
Try watching a
brick wall grow.
Tell me what you see and how you feel.
"Those who do not engage in high-risk
activities should not be made to subsidize those who do.
Subsidizing high risk activities encourages risk
taking."

"Our system is so complicated - ie. rigged - that
it's almost impossible to
know how much agricultural subsidies cost
American
taxpayers.
Since 2000 the American government paid out $1.3 billion
to "farmers" who don't farm.
They were simply "compensated" for owning
land previously used for farming.
Cash payments have cost $172 billion
over the last decade, and $25 billion in 2005 alone.
These numbers
barely tell the story appallingly immoral agricultural.
Subsidies combined with
trade barriers (another term for subsidy) prop up the price of
food for consumers at home and hurt
farmers abroad.
This keeps
Third World nations impoverished, economically dependent and politically
unstable.
subsidies wreak havoc on the
ecosystem.
One small example:
There's a 6,000-square-mile dead zone in the Gulf of
Mexico.
It's so depleted of oxygen because of algae blooms caused by
petrochemical fertilizer runoff
that shrimp and crabs at the Louisiana shore literally try to leap from the
water to breathe.
Most of the fertilizer comes from a few
Midwestern counties that receive billions in subsidies (more than $30 billion
from 1997 to 2002 - Environmental Working Group).
Also consider that
American farming is hugely
energy intensive.
Those energy costs are not fully borne by the
producer, so in effect the taxpayers is paying for
greenhouse emissions that do not
benefit him."
Jonah
Goldberg

"Family farmers and ranchers are America's original
and most quintessential entrepreneurs.
The cornerstone of America's
economy, the wellspring of American values and the stewards of vast stretches
of rural America's most remotest and most beautiful landscapes.
In 1980
there were more than 1.3 million ranches and farms with
cattle nationally. Today,
fewer than 950,000 are still in operation.
In 1980 there were also more
than 666,000 hog farms, but that number has declined to fewer than 67000.
Without family farmers and ranchers acting as stewards of working lands
that they own, the beauty and vitality of rural America's greatest assets will
be lost forever." - John Crabtree, Director - Center for Rural Affairs
"Despite having the cheapest food system in the
world, Americans are arguably the most unhealthy, "starving" for real,
nutritious food. Farm subsidies is at the core of this phenomenon, which
champions the interests of
agribusiness." -
Dorit Dowler-Guerrero
The cost of subsidies to
growers of wheat,
cotton, corn,
soybeans and
rice is $25 billion per year.
All other farm products are excluded.
The free market works for all other farm
production, and it could work for the producers of
wheat,
cotton, corn,
soybeans and
rice.
Small family farmers are harmed as they are specifically excluded from
most farm subsidies.
Small family farmers subsidize corporate
agribusiness through lower crop prices, higher input costs, higher farmland
costs and industry consolidation and, as a final insult, through patented gene
'drift' resulting in contamination of healthy seed stock.
Fortune 500
companies and celebrity "hobby farmers" collect millions of dollars under
federal subsidized farm programs.
The federal subsidized farm programs,
a system originally designed to prevent food shortages and
farmer poverty, does neither and
has become so corrupt that nothing less than abolition of the system is called
for.
Between 1995 and 2005:
Senator
Jon Tester (D-Mont.) T-Bone farms in Wolf Creek, Montana, received $232,311 for
wheat,
barley, oats, dry
peas and disaster assistance.
Senator Blanche Lincoln (D-Ark.) received
$715,000 from 1995 to 2005.
Senator Charles E. Grassley (R-Iowa) and his
family are corn and
soybean farmers. Charles E. Grassley received a little more than $225,000.
Batman has a farming partnership with his son, Robin, who received $685,833.
Senator Sam Brownback (R-Kan.) received $40,043 for conservation. Sam
Brownback's father got $319,662 and his brother John received $286,082.
Senator Richard G. Lugar (R-Ind.) received $126,555.
Senator
Ken Salazar (D-Colo.) family
farmed in Colorado for 400 years. Ken Salazar's brother, Rep. John Salazar
(D-Colo.) received $161,084.
Senator Max Baucus (D-Mont.) has divested
but his family business Sieben Ranch Company in Wolf Creek, Montana and
received $230,237.

 1994 to 2003
Use of government purchase cards increases from $1 billion to $16 billion.
General Accounting Office audits of the charge cards found ineffective
management, oversight and weak internal controls at the departments of
Agriculture, Army, Navy, Air Force, Interior, Justice, Transportation and
Veterans Affairs.
A Navy employee had used a government
credit card to make 59
fraudulent purchases worth more than $132,000 which included two cars, cosmetic
surgery and a motorbike.
A Defense Department employee used a purchase
card to charge $1.7 million in fraudulent purchases from a
fictitious company set up by her
brother.
Federal procurement spending climbed from $ 203.1 billion in
2000 to $412.1 billion in 2006.
2000 to 2006
No-bid and other
contracts awarded without full and open competition increase by over 300%.
Spending on no-bid and limited-competition contracts surged from $67.5 billion
in 2000 to $206.9 billion in 2006. More than half of federal procurement
spending is awarded through no-bid and limited-competition contracts.
187 contracts worth over $1.1 trillion are documented to have been
plagued by waste, fraud, abuse, or mismanagement in reports from the Government
Accountability Office, the Defense Contract Audit Agency, individual agency
inspector generals and other independent federal oversight
officials. |

This website defines a
new perspective with which to engage reality to which its author adheres. The
author feels that the falsification of reality outside personal experience has
forged a populace unable to discern propaganda from reality and that this has
been done purposefully by an international corporate cartel through their
agents who wish to foist a corrupt version of reality on the human race.
Religious intolerance occurs when any group refuses to tolerate religious
practices, religious beliefs or persons due to their religious ideology. This
web site marks the founding of a system of philosophy named The Truth of the
Way of the Lumière Infinie - a rational gnostic mystery religion based
on reason which requires no leap of faith, accepts no tithes, has no supreme
leader, no church buildings and in which each and every individual is
encouraged to develop a personal relation with the Creator and Sustainer
through the pursuit of the knowledge of reality in the hope of curing the
spiritual corruption that has enveloped the human spirit. The tenets of the
Truth of the Way of the Lumière Infinie are spelled out in detail on
this web site by the author. Violent acts against individuals due to their
religious beliefs in America is considered a "hate crime."
This web site
in no way condones violence. To the contrary the intent here is to reduce the
violence that is already occurring due to the international corporate cartels
desire to control the human race. The international corporate cartel already
controls the world economic system, corporate media worldwide, the global
industrial military entertainment complex and is responsible for the collapse
of morals, the elevation of self-centered behavior and the destruction of
global ecosystems. Civilization is based on coöperation. Coöperation
does not occur at the point of a gun.
American social mores and values
have declined precipitously over the last century as the corrupt international
cartel has garnered more and more power. This power rests in the ability to
deceive the populace in general through corporate media by pressing emotional
buttons which have been preprogrammed into the population through prior
corporate media psychological operations. The results have been the destruction
of the family and the destruction of social structures that do not adhere to
the corrupt international elites vision of a perfect world. Through distraction
and coercion the direction of thought of the bulk of the population has been
directed toward solutions proposed by the corrupt international elite that
further consolidates their power and which further their purposes.
