Fiscal and
regulatory policy socialize the investment of capital.
Expansion under fascism follows
a predictable pattern.
Debt
and monetary inflation pays for
state spending.
The resulting expansion of credit leads
to the boom-bust
cycle.
Financial
collapse results in stricter banking regulation,
socialization of investment,
increased monetary inflation,
debt and credit
expansion.

Wickard v. Filburn was the most important and far-reaching case
concerning the ability of the federal
government to regulate economic activity through a production
tax.
Roscoe Filburn, is
growing wheat to
feed chickens on his own
farm.
The US government had imposed limits on wheat production based
on acreage owned by a farmer, in order to drive up wheat prices during the
Great Depression, and
Filburn was growing more than the limits permitted.
The
Supreme Court decided
that Filburn's wheat-growing activities reduced the amount of wheat he would
buy for animal feed on the open
market, which is traded nationally and is thus considered
interstate
commerce.
Filburn was ordered to destroy his crops and pay a fine,
even though he was producing the excess wheat for his own use and had
no intention of selling it.
This
was done under the auspices of the Interstate Commerce Act of 1887.
1951 Grant
to promote socialism:
Ford
Foundation Annual Report notes a grant of $50,000 to the Advertising
Council Incorporated, for "a restatement of American principles."
The Advertising Council's public policy committee included Paul
Hoffman, former president of the Ford Foundation, and
Chester C . Davis, its associate director, as well as several persons with
Communist ties.
The Miracle of America, a publication of the
Advertising Council states that the public-policy committee of the
Advertising Council approves and endorses the economic education program
of the council.
Miracle of America program is under the
"Platform for All Americans ."

speech and then turns out to be a rewrite of the
British Labor-Socialist-Party program.

Research, Inc. (OPR) - a non-profit research organization set up by a group
of social scientists, lawyers and businessmen to help the US Information
Agency.
Evron M. Kirkpatrick, Executive Director of the
prestigious American Political Science Association (APSA), is chosen as
the public face of OPR.
