In relating the history of a radical ideological crusade
that has culminated in the
privatization of war and disaster, one problem recurs:
the ideology is a
shape-shifter, forever
changing its name and switching
identities.
Milton Friedman
called himself a "liberal."
Followers, who associated liberals
with high taxes and
hippies, identified themselves as "conservatives," and
supply-sided in "Reaganomics".
In
most of the world, their psychopathic vision is known as "neoliberalism," but it is
often called "free trade"
or simply "globalization."
In
the US they have been given the title
neoconservative.
Neofeudal kingdoms ruled from corporate
boardrooms are being built.
Only since the mid-nineties
has the faux intellectual
movement, led by the right-wing
think tanks with which
Milton Friedman had long associations - Heritage Foundation,
Cato Institute and the
American Enterprise
Institute - called itself "neoconservative," a
worldview
that harnessed the full force of the
US military machine in the service of an internati☣nal
c☣rp☣rate agenda.
The goal is
total liberation for
corporations and skeletal social
spending.
"A more accurate term for a system that erases the
boundaries between Big Government and Big Business is not
socialist or
capitalist but
corporatist.
Its
main characteristics are huge
transfers of public wealth to
private hands, often
accompanied by exploding
debt.
An ever-widening chasm
between the dazzling rich and
the disposable poor and
an aggressive nationalism that justifies
bottomless spending on
security.
For those
inside the bubble of extreme wealth created by such an arrangement, there
can be no more profitable way to organize a society.
As the
vast majority of the
population is left outside
the bubble, other
features of the corporate
state include aggressive
surveillance, mass incarceration
and shrinking civil liberties.
Milton
Friedman framed his movement as an attempt to 'free the market from the state'
claiming the state distorted 'market forces'.

policies were applied by the
International Monetary
Fund and the World Bank over
the past three decades what emerged was a powerful ruling alliance between a

To break the will of a people is to
traumatize them.
In shock they
are unable to fend off the 'bitter
medicine' that will 'set them free' and allow the 'austerity measures' that

The trick is to 'shock and awe' the target
population to divert attention through
distraction from the situation.

social control purposes, both of
individuals and of target populations,

This is because their hearts are
very close.
The distance between them is either nonexistent or very
small."
Ramakrishna continued, "When they love each other even more,
what happens?
They do not speak, only whisper and they get even closer
to each other in their love.
Finally they even need not whisper, they
only look at each other.
That is how close two people are when they
love each other."
He looked at his disciples and said.
"So when
you argue do not let your hearts get distant.
Do not say words that
distance hearts more.
If you do there will come a day when the distance
is so great that you will not find the path to return."
